Custom Fields Defintion (Server, Enterprise Global)

Hello,
it may sound stupid to you smart experts out there but I am wondering what
the difference is between the custom fields I can define in PWA under Server
Settings (I use 2007) and those I can configure within the Enterprise Global.
I have read about this, but never quite accurately found the difference
between those two different approaches. I'd really like to hear some words on
this.

They are the same fields. Project Server 2007 allows you to create custom
enterprise Task and Resource fields in either PWA or Project Professional
2007, but you can only create custom enterprise Project fields in PWA. Hope
this helps.
