Custom fields in SSRS reports

rebecca

I have some numeric project custom fields that are showing up in
visual studio server explorer in MSP_EPMProject_UserView view,
however, they do not appear when I select the MSP_EPMProject_UserView
in the query designer.

They are available in PWA Project Center views.

Anybody have an idea what's up?

Thank you!

Certainly a new one to me.

I'm assuming you're using the same user account for each app. Whilst you
may be logged on as one user, check the apps are running under another
account.

Have you implemented column security within the Reporting DB?

You are pointing to the same DB? I know, but it's worth checking!

Let me know.

Have you tried the "Refresh Fields" button in Query Designer? It's a
page with green arrows. The Query designer caches the available fields
and you may need to force a refresh.
