Custom fields not displaying correctly in user's MS Project Pro 20

We have a user whose MS Project Pro 2007 (SP1) is not displaying the custom
fields items correctly. Yet, if someone other user logs in to the same PC
then everything is fine.

We tried assigning the users all available groups to see if perhaps (which I
doubted was the problem) this would help, but we had the same problem.

The user with the problem can log on to any other PC and the problem is gone.

We deleted the users Global.mpt. Still no good.

Any ideas to this strange occurance???

I think you did a whole bunch of useless steps. Your description leads me
to believe the user's Local Cache is corrupted, which can "scramble" the
values in a custom enterprise Project field that contains a Lookup Table.
To delete a corrupted Local Cache, ask the user to complete the following
steps:

1. Close Project Professional 2007.
2. From the Windows desktop, click Start - Run.
3. Enter the command %appdata% in the Run dialog.
4. In the Application Data dialog, navigate to the folder Microsoft\MS
Project\Cache.
5. Delete all of the folders and files in this directory.

The next time the user attempts to open an enterprise project , he/she must
use the "Retrieve the list of all projects from Project Server" option in
the Open dialog. Let us know if this solves the problem.
