Hi,
First of all, sorry for x-posting, but I've set at least a follow-up
to: microsoft.public.developer.outlook.addins
I am not 100% sure if I have found the right group anyways, but let's
begin first:
We use Microsoft Office SharePoint Services in our company and have
custom fields for our word, excels and other documents. It is possible
to connect those with Outlook to have them as a list in Outlook.
Unfortunatelly it looks like that Outlook only provides basic fields
to show in a folder list - I can not select the fields that were
created on SharePoint to filter or sort by them?
Of course i searched already for this issue and found an (old) post to
this topic:
http://help.lockergnome.com/office/Custom-fields-STSSync-Outlook--ftopict908929.html
Is there a way to use the "normal" features of Outlook to do the thing
nowadays?
Or do I still need to write my one code for that? If so, I couldn't
figure out so far, how this works - I have a bit of knowledge how to
write Add-Ins using Visual Studio VSTO, but I never had to extend the
fields?
Version index:
Outlook 2007 (12.0.6535.5005) SP1 MSO (12.0.6535.5002), Windows Vista
SP1, SharePoint Server 2007, Visual Studio 2005, Visual Studio 2008,
Visual Studio 2010 (including VSTO Develeopment for Outlook 2007 and
Outlook 2010), .net2, .net3.5, net4.
Prefered programming language:
C#
Thank you!
