Custom Filtering

Using A2007 I have a transactions form in datasheet view and I want the user
to right click the date to open a filter similar to the Sort and Filter
section on the ribbon.
Currently a right click gives me the basic oldest to newest and vice versa
options. I guess I'm after a custom filtering menu bar of some sort...
