Custom for and MessageClass name question

I created a custom form, Message2 and the MessageClass
name is IPM.Note.Message2. I published it to the
Organizational Folder. It works fine. Then I re-
published it under a different name, dev.Message and the
MessageClass name now is IPM.Note.dev.Message. The
emails generated from my VB app are using the custom form
but no user defined fields are populated. I'm wondering
if I can use dev.Message as the MessageClass name or
Outlook only takes devmessage. Thanks.

Problem solved.

After I published the form, I modified a UDF field, for
whatever reason, it just does not work. After I
republished the form from its original, everything is
working now.
