Custom Form getting funky and not displaying

A

Angyl

I've created a custom form (no code) to serve as our client database in
Outlook and published it to our public folders. Up until a week ago, it was
working fine. Everyone had permissions to edit and add new contacts to this
folder.

Recently, however it has started acting strange. While I can when opening
an EXISTING contact see the form, and have no problems with the form while
creating NEW contacts, everyone else in the office no longer gets the form
when they are opening EXISTING contacts. It is defaulting to the standard
Exchange form. If they double-click to create a new contact in this folder
it does (as the folder permissions state it should) use and display the new
form.

Any help for why all of a sudden this folder no longer displays only the
EXISTING contacts using the custom form?

Try clearing the forms cache.

Sue,

Yeah, that's the first thing we tried, but that's not it. Before when it
was a FRMCACHE.dat issue you would not be able to view the form AT ALL. Now,
the form pops up if they go to create a new one, but not if they open an
existing client. And these existing clients were CREATED using the custom
form.

Have you checked the MessageClass and Size property values on those items and compared them with "good" items?

NM! I solved the problem with Omsgclas.exe recommended from the Microsoft
KB. Thanks for your help!
