Custom form not used for current or copied contacts

Hi,

I've created and published a custom contacts form which has been assigned
for use by a contacts folder (Properties > "When posting to this folder,
use: CustomForm").

The new form appears fine when I create a new contact but if I import or
Copy/Paste a contact from another folder only the default form is displayed?

Is there some way I can get the Custom form to appear for all contacts in
this folder. I'm using Outlook XP and Exchange 2000.

You need to change the MessageClass on the existing, imported, and copied
items to point to your new form's class. See

and scripts to accomplish this. Alternatively, if you have Outlook 2000 or
2002, you can make a registry change to substitute your custom form for the
default form. See
