Custom Formatting a Gantt Chart in PWA

I understand how to select a gantt chart in PWA. You do it through Admin and
Customize PWA and then select Gantt Chart but I do not see how to add text
adjacent the bars as can be done in MS Project.

For example, a task bar may want to have its task name on the top, its
resource(s) to the right and maybe its percent complete on the left.

Can this be done?

It can't be done in a PWA Gantt Chart view. Sorry.

Thanks for your help. Also, thanks for pointing me to your books. The PDF
table of contents looks to be extremely substantive when stacked against
other similar titles.

Thanks again for your help as I now have in just the past couple weeks
mastered at least the fundamentals of Project, Project Server and PWA.

I am managing construction projects and have been assigned the task of
learning project scheduling using Microsoft's tools and then to teach
everyone else. I plan to have our firm at least purchase your books. I have
15 years of construction management experience and 10 years software
development experience using Microsoft development tools and I still have
found getting to where I am with Project to be a daunting task. I feel I
have just tipped the iceberg.
