Custom Handout Format

R

RickGreg

I am hoping to customize a ppt handout master, as the default options aren't
working for me.

My goal is to re-create the 3 slides per page default format, but with only
2 slides per page, and in a landscape page orientation. I'd like to keep
the rules for note-taking to the right.

Any ideas on how this might be done?

Thank you.

Sorry about that. I got confused and forgot that I was responding in the
Mac group. I think there are other handout add-ins available as well, but I
don't know if any are Mac-compatible.

Yep, Handout Wiz is a .exe file.

Have not tried the send to word options. I was hoping I could keep it
within PPT. Thx.

Out of curiosity, I installed it on my work Windows XP machine. All the
..EXE file seems to do is to un-archive a .PPA file (PowerPointAddition) and
some templates that this addition uses once you manually go and install it.

Would this addition also work in the Mac version?

I'll .zip up the files and send them home to see if it works in Office 2004.

Let us know if it works ok ... we'll be sure to let Shyam, the author, know
that it should be packaged Mac-accessibly if so.

If it does work, would you mind emailing the .zip file to me? I need to
finish this doc before the weekend if possible!

Thx.

Mark sent me the HOW .zip file and I was able to install the add-in.

However, tho it appears under the TOOLS menu, it is otherwise dead. There
is no response when I select any of the options. (FYI.. I'm using PPT 2004
- v11.2.3).

So tantalizingly close!

I suspect that it is using some Visual Basic that is not available on the
Mac side.
