Custom Inline Heading Style

Hi. I am trying to convert a Word 2003 document without styles and its
manually-created TOC to one with styles and an auto-generated TOC.
(All Word 2003.) However, what would normally be Headings are
formatted in a way that I can't get into a style. It looks like this:

Section C. Some Section Name

1. A Subsection Name. The text of this subsection is inline with
the subsection name and I don't know how to create a style to make
this happen. Please help!

2. Another Subsection Name. And it continues like this.

a. A Subsub Name. There are also sub-subsections that are
also inline like this one.

b. Another Subsub Name. And it continues like this.

Section D. Next Section Name

and so on. The section names, subsection names, sub-subsection names
all must be in the table of contents. The subsection and sub-
subsection names are simply bolded to set them off from the text with
which they are inline.

Is this possible? Please help! Thanks!

contents without the following text.
