Custom Installation Wizard & Exchange Server Name Change

Hello,

I deployed Office 2000 using the Custom Installation Wizard as part of the Microsoft Office 2000 Resource Kit Tools. Within the wizard under Outlook Installation Options, you can specifiy the name of your Exchange server. Since the time that I initially deployed Office 2000 to all of our clients, we upgraded our Exchange server to Exchange 2000 (from 5.5), which has a different name from the old one. I changed the name to the new one in the Custom Installtion Wizard, and everything works perfectly on new deployments of Office 2000, but the problem is with the original deployments when we had the old Exchange 5.5 server with the different name. Everytime a new user logs onto those workstations that have the original deployment, the computer is prefilling the Exchange server name with the old one. As a result, people are getting an error message stating that the Global Address List isn't available followed by the Microsoft Exchange Server properties box coming up with the old Exchange server name. They then have to manually change it to the new Exchange server, and it works fine after that.

How can I change the name of the Exchange server on all the old deployments without having to reinstall Office on all of them?

Thanks for your help!
