I have an Access application that is being used on single-users systems,
peer-to-peer networks, server networks, and with Terminal Services. I'm
thinking about using PDW to install just the frontend and the libraries; and
then have it start an Access program which leads the user through a set of
questions that determines the final desired configuration and thenloads the
rest of the supporting files accordingly.
Some things I would like to be able to do programmaticly to accomplish this
task, which I currently don't know how to do are:
1) Determine the CD drive letter being used for the install.
2) Create mapped drives.
3) Create shortcuts or change the paths of existing shortcuts.
Any pointers you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
