custom keyboard shortcuts NOT working

Hi all,

I have a Powerbook G4 with Excel for Mac 2004. I have setup a few
custom keyboard shortcuts for things like Paste Special or Paste
Values, etc.
I just purchased an external Apple USB keyboard, and custom keyboard
shortcuts don't work anymore! They work fine from the laptop's
keyboard, but not from the external.

Any help to solve this will be highly regarded.
