Custom labels

I have a lot of labels that are printed on odd sized paper....i.e.: not
standard sizes like A4 or A5. I can make a custom size label in Envelopes
and Labels but there does not seem to be an option to select the page size I
need. As I am using a laser printer which feeds the pages from the centre, I
cannot use a standard size for the template and just feed the label sheets
from the side. Is there any other way I can tackle this problem. Many thanks
for any suggestions.

Correction.....I don't mean the labels are *printed* on odd sized paper....I
obviously meant set out on odd sized sheets, other than standard sizes.

Labels are just tables. So you can start off with a custom paper size, with
the margins set appropriately and insert a table in the document to
represent your labels.

I had thought of tables but, whilst I can set the outside margins, I do not
know how to allow for the spaces all around each label. I have found where
to set the width of the cells, but where do you set the height? I am using
Office XP.

Table Properties, Row tab to set the height. You can also set "cell
margins," or you can create spacer rows/columns between your labels.

Thanks so much. I shall do some more exploring in Word and hopefully
construct a workable template, now that I know what to look for.
