Custom Letter template macro?

In Outlook 2000, our office would like to select 1 contact
and have info feed into a custom letter format (with our
margins, indents, etc.)

Easiest "built in" method seems to be under tools\mail
merge\(radio button) Only Selected Contacts and Existing
Document (browse for path). DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A MACRO
FOR THESE STEPS? or RECENT(after '97) CODING FOR 1 CUSTOM
FORMAT LETTER AT A TIME AT THE PUSH OF A BUTTON?

Have found some solutions on the web dating from 1997, but
suspect changes in Outlook since then cause need to
troubleshoot code. We're not that savvy.
