Custom Line End Hellp

Hi there,

I am trying to create a custom line end that have a 45 degree line at
the end of whatever line drawn. After searching the web it seems that
the only resources are by John in his blog and greenonions.com.

I have created a master shape on the document stencil, at the line end
folder and dragged 2 guides to intersect at the center. Then I draw a
line that extends from the left to the middle of the page, at the lower
left quadrant. The line ends that this shape produces is too small, no
matter how large I make the page to be.

How can I enlarge the line end so that even at very small and small, I
will see a large 45 degree line at the ends of my line? How can I create
a large shape (transparent) just like the built in line end no 38?

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

There's a nice article here:

Some essential tips:

- You need the Drawing Explorer (View > Windows) to see your Pattern Masters
- Make patterns from left-to-right
- Make pattern-shape a group, ie: group it, don't leave separate shapes in
the pattern-master (green page)
- Move the pin to the right end of the group
- The group-height represents the line thickness. Make the patter bigger
than the group height. Edit > Open Group allows you to go inside of a group
and stretch the innards so that they are bigger than the group's bounding
box. For example, an arrowhead ought to be, say, 3 to 5 times as tall as the
line that it caps.
