I have created a backend access database that holds only
reports and a few forms, which I open from a frontend
database. The backend database has a custom menu bar,
which is displayed in place of the standard Access menu
bar.
When I open the backend database manually, my custom menu
bar works great. However, when I open it using VBA
automation from the frontend database, some of the
buttons on the menu bar are dimmed that should be
available. Strangely, even though they are dim, they do
work as they should - i.e. when I click them they work.
What could be causing this to occur?
I appreciate any thoughts you might have.
