I have an application that I distribute widely in Access 2000 mde
format. I edit the application with Access XP, but using the db in 2000
format.
When am ready to create the mde, I open the db in Access 2000. Here is
my problem: I have 11 primary entries on the user created menu. 3 of
them are completely empty (all menu items on the dropdown are gone), 1
has entries from some other application (not mine) and the rest have
the proper entries in the dropdown portion of the menu.
If I open the same database in Access XP (after opening it in 2000),
the menus are all there, nice and neat!
What gives? This is only a recent phenomenon as I was doing the same
thing before and did not lose any menu items.
