Custom Message-form and Preview pane

Hi

I have developed a customized mail-form, which contains a button and some
VB-code.
The implementation in my customers environment works fine when the
preview-pane is shut off.
When the preview-pane is activated and my customer clicks on a mail with the
customized form problems occurs:
1. The preview pane goes grey and a message about security is displayed
instead.
2. The mail-icon in the folder list doesn't change for read messages.

Is this behaviour normal?
Is there any way to get around this, since my customer is persistent to use
the preview pane?

Ken Slovak - [MVP - Outlook]

It's normal and there really isn't anything you can do about it. Any form
with code in it won't display in the preview pane.
