Hello,
I have been asked to check into the possibility of changing the default new
message for Outlook 2003. We have our own Exchange server also 2003 SP2.
The new message needs to have a compulsary job number field that needs to be
filled in before the email can be sent. When sent this would have to
integrate with the subject field.
For example before I start a new email, I must type in a (new) seprate box
below the subject field "4782" and just for this example say I put in the
subject "New plan of action". When this is filled in I can then send my
message. The receiver will get the subject line "4782 New plan of action".
I understand external parties won't have the same system but alot of our
email is internal and this should help with email filing.
Please let me know if this is possible and how to go about it.
One last question though on how this form would be affected when we move
over to office 2007 some point down the track?
Appreciate any help.
