Custom Number Fields - Task

I'm using the Organizer to move custom fields defined with Looku
values, from a Template (not Global) project file to new and existin
project plan files.

The Template file is in 2003 format and so are the project files, bu
they are being accessed, edited, Organizer invoked, and saved usin
Project 2007.

The Table Lookup fields are not copying with the Custom fields throug
the organizer.

Am I missing a configuration setting? Is this a known limitation? I
there a workaround

I am using the Import Field under Options/Customize/Fields window to get
the data copied from file to file. But shouldn't the Organizer do that
automatically?

Hi Art,

Sadly, I can replicate exactly what you report. When using the
organizer to copy fields with value lists, Project 2003 works
correctly -- copying the value list. When using Project 2007, the
value list is not copied. The only method I am aware of is to do as
you are doing, import the lookup table from project to project.
