I am having my 8th grade students create a database of the elements in the periodic table. We want to include data such as freezing point and melting point and density. I cannot figure out how to format the fields to show what the units are (degrees celsius, for example) can someone help on this??? Thanks so much!

Nicole,

In the table design, pick your temperature field and in
the Format box in Properties type 0"°C" for Celcius. This
will display 12 C, -25 C etc. (the Degree symbol was
copied from Word Insert > Symbol)
