Dear Sirs,
I have to update MS Office 2000 sp2 to sp3 with a central
point of administration. At the same time, I want to modify
the default Outlook parameters related to the name of my
Exchange server.
I installed the MS Office 2000 sp3 to my central point of
administration and modify those parameters with the custom
installation wizard.
When I update MS Office 2000 clients from the central
point of administration, all are running well except the
default Outlook parameters which are not updated. On the
other hand, if I delete MS Office 2000 client before
updating to sp3, it goes well and the default Outlook
parameters are modified as I wish. Can you tell me why ?
(The registry key for that is HKLM\Software\MS\Newprof)
I precise that if I modify this registry key, the old
values are set again when I open a new network session.
Best regards,
John
