custom page border using words

I would like to create a page border for my document, but I want to use words
(like a poem) around the edge. Is there anyway to do it without using text
boxes? Is there a way to use the border/shading option? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

No, there is no way that doesn't involve either text boxes or WordArt.
