Custom Paper Size

I am having trouble setting and saving custom paper size. I am using a
Canon i960 and have saved custom paper sizes with this computer and
printer in the past, and those sizes appear in the drop down menu.
There is no "new" button that appears as suggested in previous posts on
this site. Also, when you preview the size of paper after entering new
size in the custom size box, it still appears as an 8 1/2 x 11.

Finally, when I try to print, no matter what orientation I choose it
will not print as loaded. The paper size must be fed on its side due to
its width, but the print does not adjust as it would if I printed a
standard envelope.

Very baffled - please help - need to work on something right away and
am wasting lots of time.

Sorry: Can't think of anything other than "Remove the printer definition
and re-create it".

The printer definitions sometimes corrupt and Word seems unable to read
them. Regrettably, I've never found out where the custom paper sizes are
stored...

Sorry
