Custom Properties dialog box

I am creating a new Project Schedule, Calendar (US units) on Visio 2003 SP2.
When I drag a Year shape onto my page, it should (and used to) automatically
show me the Custom Properties dialog box to specify the year and other
information. However, now when I drag a year shape onto my blank page, the
dialog box does not display and only the first month is populated with the
default 2003 information. Is there a setting turned off? Or is the dialog box
possibly hidden somewhere? I can right click on the calendar to get to the
custom properties where I can set it, but I want to know why it's not working
as it used to. Has anyone seen this before?

Try the following:
Save a copy of the Calendar Shapes stencil so that you can edit the copy.
Right click the Year shape and select "Edit Master". Select the shape in the
Edit Master window and select "Show ShapeSheet" from the Window menu. Find
the Events section of the ShapeSheet and check the value of the EventDrop
cell. It should read RUNADDONWARGS("ts","/cmd=29")+SETF("EventDrop",0).

Let us know the results and we can go from there.

Next test:
Try copying the formula RUNADDONWARGS("ts","/cmd=29") into the EventDblClick
cell of any shape. Double-click the shape and you should get some kind of
response. If not, that would indicate that there's a problem with the
'add-on' program that's supposed to run when the Year shape is dropped. This
is a strange one...

That didn't help.

I had our desktop tech rebuild my Windows profile, which seemed to fix the
issue. Who knows what happened, but at least it's working!!
