Custom Properties

I have shapes in my stencils which I have set custom properties for. When I
drag and drop them onto my page, the properties do not exist. Why is this and
how do I correct the problem? I am trying to update all of my shapes with
properties so I may generate reports(Bill of Materials) with the
"Tools/Reports" option.

If your stencil shapes really have Custom Properties, then I think that you
have more than one shape in the Master, so Visio is automatically grouping
them when you drag and drop.
