custom property tabs

Im trying to create tabs to sort the catagories in the custom properties box for PC drawing under office eqipment stencil in Visio 2000. So far no luck. I have other shapes (like ones from Dell that show up as having tabs) but I can not figure out how to add or remove tabs from the list. Any one know

the 'tabs' in a custom property display are the 'sort' fields. sometimes if
you have too many custom properties within a specific sort you will get an
additional tab annotated with a number (i.e. Network(1)).
