custom recurrence

How do I customize a recurring appointment that's not represented in the
dialogue box option? Specifically, I'd like to schedule an appointment on
the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. How do I do that?

You would need to make 2 appointments, one for the 1st Tues and one for the
3rd.
