custom shape added to the legend shape

How do I get a custom shape to be recognized by the legend shape.

That worked! I copied the magic text (User.visLegendShape) into the Data 1
field on the Format, Special box. Then dragged the custom shape over to the
Legend and it converts it to a symbol! The custom shape shows on the Legend.
Slick. Did not find this in Visio Help, Inside Out or Version 5.0 Solutions
book.

Also works if I add the magic text to the Master Properties for a custom
Router shape. But not with dynamic or curved connectors?

You can also drop a shape on top of the legend shape to get it added to the
legend. For some reason, 1-d shapes do not work.
