Custom Shapes problem with multiple connections (100+) to a single

Hi,

We have set of custom shapes and and each shape has a set of custom
conenctions points defined in the connections section.

Our shapes seem to work fine until we start to work with very large sets of
data. In other words we have 100s of shapes we drop onto a visio document and
we connection them together.

The problem we are having is that after about 50 or so connections from all
other shapes to one particular shape we are unable to get a connection point
to it. In other words when we mouse over the the shape and try to get a
connection line to connect to the shape we don't get a "solid connection";
the red connection icon doesn't display noting we have a valid connection.

Yes, there are some limitations to connections dependent on the density of
connection points and the number of connectors. There's no single metric
that determines this though.
