Custom Task Form

I'm working on creating a custom form in Outlook that, for all purposes,
needs to function like a task in Outlook, but with a few slight variations.
Is this possible to do (such as calendar date lookup as well as contact
information lookup and linking)? If there is a way to take a standard task
and create each item exactly as it appears on there, that'd be best and then
i can work back from there. Any help you can offer would be greatly
appreciated.

Recreating the built-in pages of the task form on custom pages is difficult, given that Outlook includes no date/time picker control for developers (at least not until Outlook 2007). See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/taskform.htm

Thank you Sue. I had a funny feeling that this was the case. A client
wanted to pretty much rewrite the task form so it would do everything under
the sun, but the controls didn't seem to allow me to do that.

You can tell them you'll be able to accommodate their needs when Outlook 2007 ships.
