Custom Task Views Disappear

I created several custom task views recently. I chose the personal view
option. Whenever I change from the task window to mail, calendar, or
contacts, and back to the task window, those custom views disappear from the
current view within the navigation pane. If I perform a send/receive, those
custom views will reappear on the current view pane within the navigation
window, the next time I reenter the task window.

It's obviously frustrating to have to clilck on send/receive everytime I
leave the task window just to use my custom views. Does anyone know why this
is occurring and what can be done so those custom views no longer "disappear"
on me?
