Custom textfield left of summarytask bar does not show

Hi,

the problem: I need to place a custom textfield (NameWithColon=[name]&": ")
left of all summarytask bars. After inserting it in the bar style dialog in
the summarytask bar text, it does not show in the Gantt bar chart, neither
left nor in any other position.
Inserting the same field to the left of the taskbars however works perfectly.
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Hello Joachim,

Does the summary task text field contain the information you need on
the summary tasks line? I assume you've created the formula to show
the information and set the summary lines to use the formula in the
customize field dialog box?

I cannot reproduce what you report. What version (including service
pack) of Project are you running?

thank you for the quick reaction. Everything is OK, I forgot to mark the use
of the formula for summary task rows in the customi field dialog box.
