Custom toolbar does not show when project is opened from another c

I have created macros to apply certain views/filters. I created a toolbar for
the macro buttons. When I open the project from a different computer the
toolbar does not show. I have tried tools/organizer and copied the toolbar
from the global template to the project file but the toolbar still does not
show. Any suggestions on how to make this work?

Hi RWR,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Please confirm that in the new PC, does the toolbar appear in its
Global.mpt? How did you get the project into the new PC? And having copied
it from its Global.mpt to the project, it doesn't show as having copied into
the project?

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

I am accessing the project file from a server. From my PC the toolbar is
visible in both the global and the project file. When I access the project
file from another PC the toolbar is visible in the project file but not in
the global.mpt

Try Right-Clicking on the toolbar. Does your toolbar show up in this list?
If so, select it...

A toolbar won't show up unless it's in the Global so you'll need to open the
project with the toolbar and copy it to the Global. It should show up then.
For other systems, you can set up an AutoOpen macro to automatically copy
the toolbar to the Global when the project with the toolbar is opened.
