Custom view doesn't remember changes

I change the Custom View but Outlook sometimes reverts back to old settings.

For example, I want my inbox to display who the are FROM , but it
periodically drops the FROM field/column I have added to the custom view.

It does the opposite thing in my outbox - it drop or removes the TO column.

Is there a solution to this?
