Custom view in public folder cannot be amended

John

We have a set of publically defined views, in a public folder, and are
trying to amend one of those views.

The problem is that even though the change to the view is saved for the
local that did the change, no one else can see the changes. Without,
deleting and re-creating the view is there any way of amending it so that
everyone can see the newly amended view?

Thanks in advance ( I hope I explained myself clearly)

they might be one-offed - you could copy the view instead of recreating...Ahhh! How can a custom view be one-offed? (so as to avoid it later)

it's almost impossible to avoid it <g> it usually happens when you make a
change to the same rule in another folder - but other things can cause it to
happen. since it's a public folder, I wouldn't be surprised if someone
changes the sort causes it to one-off.
