In a table view of a folder, some of Outlook's standard fields appear with
icons. I would like to achieve the same effect with a user-defined field,
but can't figure out how.
For example, if you have the standard field "Importance" in a view, you may
see an exclamation point or a down arrow in the table view. If you right
click on the column heading and select "Format Columns..." the resulting
dialog box informs you that the Importance field has a "Format Type" of
"Bitmap w/Popup List." All my custom fields in this view also show their
assigned Format types. However, when you create a user-defined field,
"Bitmap w/Popup List" is not a viable option.
How do I enable a bitmap popup for a user-defined field?
Can I diaply a bitmap in a column like the 'Icon' field?
Thanks in advance,
