Custom Views not allowing all fields

We are using Project Server 2007.
I have created a new view and want to filter on a custom field called
"Report".
I have added the field to the view, but it is not in the list of avialable
fields to filter on.
If I go to Project Center and select Custom Filter, I can select the
"Report" field to filter on.
Any ideas on why I cannot see the field when creating a new view?

An additional piece of information. The field "report" is configured with
"Allow multiple values to be selected from lookup table".

Could this be related to my problem?

That's the problem. Adhoc filtering doesn't know how to handle multiple
value fields.

It is interesting then that he can go to Project Center and filter on the
multi-value field "Report".

I meant to say that the other way around. I noticed that the implementation
isn't consistent.
