Custome field contraints

Hi guys,
I am entirely new to project server development. However i need to enforce
some sort of constraint on an enterprise field that i have created.

The constraint should be that once a value has been stored in the field that
same should not be acceptable anymore.

Sorry, custom fields do not have that sort of constraint available. You can
limit it to an existing list, but you can't enforce a unique value.

Unfortunaly this is one of the drawbacks in Project Server. However if it is
critical that you have this functionality have considered customizing PWA?
