Custome Field getting value from Active Directory

Can we create Custom Field which gets value from Active Directory instead of
lookup table?

We have cost center and location fields which change constantly.

Only available via the PSI/custom development. You could run off some
managed code when the AD sync event fires. Check with the dev forum to see
if anyone has some sample code.

No without some custom program, a service that execute daily, read AD and
update the database.
For that you need a application developer that knows PSI and .Net
technology.

The SDK have a WebPart and ProjTool application, and XML Change application,
this two apps have all what you need.
For the AD access look some heps about the sharepoint object model.
