Customer indicator images

I would like to use my own custom images as indicators for my custom fields.
How can I accomplish this, if at all? Can I modify one of the images that
exist as well? If so, how is that done?

A client of mine dug into the server files and found the icon files. She
replaced them with her own, using the same names as the files that were there
to start with. I cannot recall if the files had .ico extensions. I think
their names were 1, 2, 3, etc.

Hi Gary,

I have to disagree with you here. This isn't a developer question. While I
*am* a programmer, tho now pmo / project mgr, I ask this as an end user.
It's a configuration / end user question. I want to use my own indicators or
those of my ultimate end users.

If the answer to this is for a developer to create something that will
interface with MSP EPM to create or modify the images, then how very short
sighted of Microsoft (not the first time). The EPM product is very
customizable, including using the feature that allows me to associate images
with CUSTOM fields. So why can't I customize even that?!?!

Sounds like a good add on for Microsoft to add to Project 12 or an
opportunity for a developer to make some money off of Microsoft (again).

Thanks Reid. I will take a look at that.

I read something from an add-on solution developer's website for EPM that
they wrote a C# application to be able to upload their own images for their
dashboard to use (pcubed), but I would rather not have to write my own
utility to do this.
