Hi Phil, (courtesy email copies sent, please continue in excel.setup thread)
You should be able to use Reset to get the new things, but as Dave said
it would be a good idea to recreate the toolbars from scratch.
What was not specifically said is that the size of the toolbars file seems to
expand and become unwieldly so rebuilding or restoring from a rebuilt
toolbars file appears to be in order after some period of time.
To help you document the structure of your own toolbars and menus with their
associated macros you can find more information and obtain code from
Barhopper -- fixup for Restored Toolbars, and -- Listing of Menu Items
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/barhopper.htm
The code shown on the page "prints" to the intermediate window in the VBE,
but the code you want to run is the "worksheet version with further enhancements"
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/code/barhopper_ws.txt
It will not document your icons that you may have in your menus or toolbars
so you should copy each of your own icons and paste them to a worksheet
so you can paste them back into your manually recreated toolbars and
menus on your new system.
You definitely want to backup your toolbars and other files.

The location and name of the toolbars file (.xlb) changes with the
release of Excel and operating system so I would do a seach once
you have your new version installed to find the toolbars file that was
saved the last time you exited Excel so you will know which one to
delete before starting over with Excel creating it for you and you
making your own changes.
Additional information and somethings you might want on your
toolbars can be found on my toolbars page.
