Mr. Low
I have a suggestion in mind for MS Excel 2007 and would like to share with
you.
At present when a user would like to sum up a group of figure as follows he
need to manually enter the formula @sum( ) at the destination cell over
and over again.
Sub total Sales Sub total
245.36
321.25
125.37
88.14
1,102.25 322.13 1,102.25
1,102.25
300.12
500.21
1,600.65 800.32 1,600.65
100.31
600.38
400.42
1,451.76 50.65 1,451.76
TOTAL : 4,154.66
The existing summation button only allows adding from top to bottom of the
last highlighted cell and not to its left or right as indicated in the sub
total figures above.
As this type of calculation is very frequent in most business , I would like
to suggest that the summation button be modified in such a way the user could
customize the sub total figure either at the bottom, left, or right or even
top of the last cell highlighted. This would make sub totaling many groups of
numbers less tedious and faster.
I hope my feedback is helpful for your product improvement .
Kind Regards
