Customised Task form and PDA

Does anyone have experience with using customised Task forms and PDAs? A
client wants to go down that track and I want to check if there are any big
obstacles!!

I don't know of any PDA task programs that support custom Outlook forms, but
it's not a subject high on my radar. I do know that only a few sync programs
support custom fields.
