Customised toolbars

Gordon Filby

Hi,

my toolbar filled with homemade macros has now become so broad that it
covers the screen. Is there / does anyone know a way of arranging the
buttons in two or more rows?

Thanks,
Regards,

Hi Gordon

Just resize the toolbar by draging it border(s).

I can drag it to the borders and dock it vertically (left and right), but it
won't resize.

Gordon,

Create one more toolbar and move some of the buttons to the new toolbar.

Hi Gordon,

If the toolbar is docked, there is nothing you can do about resizing it. If
it is floating, you can do the following,

1. Open the Customize dialoh, and then right-click on the button where you
want the the row to break, and select "Begin New Group" from the popup menu.

2. Drag the right edge of the toolbar border to the left until the toolbar
snaps into being on two rows.

It works allright up to the last step. That is, it forms two rows docked on
the right screen vertical. However, when I drag it back out again, it
reverts to the original single row version. I want it to float as two rows.
Can that be done?

Thanks

Yes. set the toolbar floating first, then drag the edge to make two rows.
