Customising Shapes

Hello all,

I basically would like a rectangle box (such as process block) with
connection nodes along the edges. At the bottom edge (or one of the edges),
as opposed to a single connection node (as is the case with process
block/shape), I would like to separate connection nodes.

This is so that two links are not joining at the same node. How could I do
this in visio?

please note that I have had no sleep in the past 48 hours, and finding a
little difficult to communicate.. so what i wrote might not make a lot of
sense :)

Adding connection points to a shape can be done from the toolbar with the
connection tool. AFAIK the second part of your question (i.e. I heard
one-and-only-one connection per point) would require that code be written.
