Customising task information panel

Hi,
i'm a beginner with project development. I was wondering whether i can add a
custom page to the "summary task information" and "task information" panel.
I'm importing data from another app into project. The data consists of 3
point estimates on tasks etc. and i want to show these custom data in a
separate page/panel.
I developed a similar thing in outlook wherein i created a custom form,
published it. everytime outlook loads data from my app. it associates the
task with that form. so when you open a task in outlook it shows the task in
the custom form with all custom forms neatly populated. wondering if
something similar can be done with outlook.
