Customize Calendar View

Is is possible to change the color of the calendar bar to a color based on
the resource assigned to it.
For example I would like all the tasks in the calendar view assigned to my
engineering department to be blue and all task assigned to the shop to be
green. How do I do this?
Also is it possible to make the deadline show up on the calendar.

Hello Ben,

The Calendar view is somewhat more limited in formatting options
than the Gantt chart view. If you only want to be able to
differentiate between two choices (Engineers and shop) you can
accomplish what you need through Marked tasks and a highlight
filter. Add the Marked field to a Gantt chart and set the Marked
field to "yes" for Engineers. When you view the Calendar view, all
"marked" tasks are cyan. You can then use Project > Filtered For,
More filters. Select the "Using Resource" filter, select the Shop
resources and click the "Highlight" button. By default tasks with a
highlight filter are dark blue. You can change the colors for both
Marked and Highlighted tasks through Format > Bar Styles.

Unfortunately, deadlines indicators do not show in the calendar
view.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
